Provides options to cluster results beyond subject to sort, group and filter results into clusters based on relevance, date, source, category or by available tags.

Show in Clusters

Clicking on the "show in clusters" icon will highlight every cluster containing that result enabling users to view all similar results.

Advanced Linguistic Capabilities

Offers advanced options to add localization, customization and tuning via the web administration tool by specifying stopwords, metadata, synonyms, antonyms, relative weighting for text fields, globally-important words, lexical stemming and others.

Leverage Existing Categorization Systems

Does not require a categorization system to be in place but can incorporate a thesaurus, taxonomy or ontology to enhance the dynamic clusters.

Ease of Integration

Written in portable C, for maximum speed and flexibility. It is designed to work on top of any existing search solution, content repository and the Vivísimo Velocity Search Platform.

Versatile Design

Passes search results to the Velocity Clustering Engine through either a direct API or HTTP connection using XML. This means the Clustering Engine can run on a separate server or operating system than the source engine or database since it never accesses their indices.
